CCHS Career & Technical Education Student of the Month for September is Mr. Caleb Burdette. Caleb is a senior pursuing Agricultural Mechanics where he is part of the Clay High Builders & Welders Simulated Workplace. Caleb plans on getting his diesel certificates in July. In his free time he likes rebuilding trucks and playing sports. When asked about CTE Caleb said, “CTE means an opportunity to plan for my future and the road ahead.” Caleb is the son of Sandra and Douglas Burdette of Procious. Clay County Career & Technical Center has selected Elijah Armes, freshman Management Administration student as the October Student of the Month. Elijah is an excellent worker and has proven himself to be a great asset to his CTE Enterprises Simulated Workplace where he is a Laser Engraver Apprentice. It’s not all work though, Elijah also enjoys running, farming, gaming with his friends, and enjoying family time. After graduation he plans to open his own business. Elijah is the son of Wesley & Christina Armes of Bomont.
